What am I doing?

What do I do, and where do I go? I clearly remember asking myself this a lot during my high school years; it truly was a very chaotic time! I struggled endlessly with thoughts about the future, facing all the unknowns and uncertainties that loomed ahead, and to be honest, it scared me. To make matters more complicated, during that period, I found myself doubting whether photography could ever be a viable career path for someone like me. I mean, after all, I was just some kid trying to navigate high school! Yet, even amidst all that confusion and self-doubt, I made sure to carve out some time to take pictures. During my junior year, I got myself a Polaroid camera, I snapped memories of my friends and everyday moments around the school. However, after graduation, those same looming questions resurfaced: What do I do now? Where do I go? In my search for answers, I ended up landing a job at a bustling parts warehouse within an auto dealership. I know that picking parts and assisting customers with their car troubles is very different from immersing myself in the art of photography, but I met a lot of truly amazing people there and learned invaluable lessons about life. Yet deep down, I knew that this wasn't the path I wanted to take for my future. So, after much reflection, I made the exciting decision to finally invest in a real camera – a fantastic Fujifilm XT-30!
